Writing, definitively takes a LOT to begin... but once I started, its been easier. Mostly, I need to revise my ENTIRE BIBLIOGRAPHY to remember the info I needed. Now that I see the structure of the research report, it is easier to understand the organization of my study. I think it would have HELPED me a lot to have had this lay outs. Only of the first two chapters, from the beginning of my research to allocate my findings better.

Propulsion propulsion propulsion

This part is the most prominent of my research so far, I needed to understand the nature of the wheelchair and the work that has been done to improve its shortcomings. So far, under manual wheelchairs the biggest problem seems to be the energy lost by the user when operating the chair by him or herself.

where to go from here

the research process has proven challenging at best due to the specific condition of my problem statement. As I research I realize there is a considerable amount of information in propulsion of manual wheelchairs, but very little on the sanitary issues due to direct contact with the wheelchair. From the information accumulated in the analysis of previous research papers, information in the class and interviews with my expert in wheelchairs I have constructed a time line and a pert chart to limit my goals and manage the time needed to complete this project

A little about me

Bold, outside the box, simply ingenious: it doesn't take mainstream for great creativity

I am currently a student at SF State University majoring Industrial Design. I am independent, responsible and dedicated senior who has achieved a GPA of 3.94 while working 40 hours a week for 4 successive years.

I have worked in downtown San Francisco in a boutique hotel as concierge, front desk agent and night auditor for 3 years. I am in my last semester of school. I have a passion for languages, traveling, music and art, but what really calls my attention is cultures, their diversity and important views they can teach me.

I am influenced by everything that is worth paying attention to, but most importantly I am influenced by nature and by our interaction with it. I have a latin american background which holds me closer to tradition and nature itself, and I hope that my experiences from my past, travels to other parts of the world, will give me the experience I need to lead a business unique in nature, and profitable for society, and for the environment.

My six words:

Clumsy

Forgetful

Passionate

Well intentioned

Good friend

Honest
